The University of Southampton, ranked joint 15th in the UK[1] and 90th in the world[2], has developed a global reputation for outstanding academic research and teaching. As a founding member of the Russell Group, an organisation of 24 leading UK universities synonymous with quality academic education, Southampton is committed to innovative thinking, pioneering research, and inventive education.

With over 150 years of history, and over 21,000 students from more than 130 countries, Southampton offers a diverse, vibrant and welcoming community. The University is located in a growing city full of opportunities and is a great place for students to explore what they’re capable of, find new passions and discover their next step in a supportive environment.

The new ONCAMPUS Southampton Centre will provide an outstanding start for international students who have ambitions to progress onto a wide range of programmes at this world-class university.

Brendan Webb, co-CEO of Cambridge Education Group, says:

Our latest partnership with the University of Southampton represents a significant opportunity for international students to access a globally renowned university. For international students, the benefits of attending a Russell Group university are that they will have access to some of the world’s leading academics, innovative research projects and links to business. We are thrilled to be welcoming our first cohort to the University of Southampton International Pathway Centre this September.

Professor Alex Neill, Vice-President (Education) at the University of Southampton, says:

We’ve partnered with Cambridge Education Group to enhance our global reach in education and attract outstanding students from across the world to the University. Students joining the pathway programmes will study a rigorous academic curriculum, while improving their English language proficiency and settling into the fantastic student life that the University and city of Southampton offer. We look forward to welcoming them to our community.
