Cambridge Education Group (CEG) is delighted to announce an extension to its partnership with the University of Southampton, a founding member of the Russell Group, to offer an exciting range of 100% online degree programmes.
CEG’s Digital division will work closely with the University to develop a suite of online programmes, giving students across the globe the flexibility to learn anywhere, at any time. This new partnership will be known as Southampton Online, with the first programmes launching in 2025.
The University of Southampton’s programme sponsor and Vice-President Education & Student Experience, Professor Deborah Gill, said:
“We’re delighted to partner with Cambridge Education Group to develop our online programme offering. Online learning will offer students a flexible approach to achieve a qualification, allowing them to fit their studies around work and family commitments. It will also offer access to education to individuals in other countries, providing the opportunity to study with a Russell Group University, without the need for travel or relocation.”
Brendan Webb, Chief Executive Officer, Commercial, of Cambridge Education Group, added:
‘We’re thrilled to widen our partnership with the University of Southampton, a forward-thinking institution dedicated to offering innovative and flexible learning experiences. We share a mutual commitment to making educational excellence as accessible as possible worldwide, which makes this partnership a perfect match. We’re excited to provide a variety of programmes that will help students to shape their future careers.’
Southampton Online extends CEG’s existing partnership with the University. The provision of undergraduate foundation and Master’s preparation programmes for international students is delivered via OnCampus Southampton.
