What’s New in 2025 from Cambridge Education Group

In a challenging market, we’re working hard to focus on ways to empower our student learners through inclusive, flexible study options that enable them to Achieve More. As we innovate through product developments, university partnerships and improved platforms we are excited to share some highlights to support you and your students in 2025.

  • Master’s study in London

On the back of our hugely successful launch of the University of Hull London centre, we’re delighted to be supporting Aston University establish a range of Master’s programmes in the heart of London.

  • Master’s Access Programme at the University of Southampton

    New for September 2025 – the Master’s Access Programme at OnCampus Southampton. A new programme with 120 credits to provide academic uplift for students who need additional preparation in advance of their Master’s studies.
  • OnCampus London Articulation Renewals

    University of London members Queen Mary and Goldsmiths have renewed agreements with OnCampus to continue to offer guaranteed routes across a wide range of progression degrees. Hundreds of students continue excel and progress to our London based partner universities – in 2024 87% achieved progression. OnCampus London students benefit from our excellent university progression service and regular on site visits from leading universities to support their application. Recently the students have had a session from London School of Economics and the University of the Arts London. With progression across thousands of subjects, there’s the right degree for everyone.
  • Increased medical routes via OnCampus Ireland and On Campus UK North

The University of Nicosia Medical School and St George’s University, Grenada, have recently renewed their agreement to support OnCampus North students looking to progress to study medicine. Medical University – Pleven has also recently teamed up with OnCampus Ireland to open up a new route to study in Bulgaria. These agreements add further choice and study locations in addition to our core partner The University of Lancashire and Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland.

  • Guaranteed progression to Birkbeck, University of London

    In a continuation of the good news and our renewed collaboration with Birkbeck, OnCampus students now have guaranteed progression to all Birkbeck degree programmes – and the International Year One in Business. Support the University’s international agenda, we’re also pleased to collaborate on the University’s own pre-sessional programme. With Birkbeck offering 12-week micro-placements to all students interested in getting their foot on the career ladder, it’s the perfect choice for today’s career focused students.
  • Art and Design Pathways in Paris

    At our Paris centre, students have a broader choice of progression routes with Art & Design UFP and a NEW IY1 in Fashion Management offering progression to LISAA – the largest design school in Paris from September 2025.
  • University of Hull – Life Science routes

    Through OnCampus Hull and the University of Hull London we have added Life Science routes for students aiming for careers in subjects from healthcare to nursing and the ever-popular sports science.
  • International Year One in Cyber Security at Aston University

With its first intake in January 2025, the September 2025 cohort is now open for recruitment. As Aston University extends its collaboration with industry leaders, students are invited to ‘Rewrite what’s possible’ at one of the world’s most entrepreneurial universities.

  • Wider Progression opportunities in the Netherlands

    Through an initiative with Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences students can now study a University Pathway Programme in the Netherlands and apply to transfer using the 60 ECTS credits gained to universities within Europe. In additional to our long-running Master’s Qualifying Programme with the University of Amsterdam faculty of Economics and Business, we are now proud to support student applications to the Amsterdam Business School Masters in Finance – ideal for those looking to start their career in the sector.
  • London South Bank University – New programmes

    Expanding the portfolio with London South Bank University, we will be launching several new products with OnCampus. Look out for more information on;
    • Foundation in Life Sciences (CEG CAS)
    • International Year One Computing (ICAS) and Law (ICAS)
    • A one semester Pre-Master’s (ICAS) (first intake in April/May 2026)
    • Pre-sessional programmes
  • More choice for students in our digital division

A new collaboration with the University of Southampton, who join leading universities including King’s College London, the University of Warwick, London South Bank and the University of Hull in our digital portfolio. We’re proud to continue to support students looking for an alternative access to leading university programmes.

Added Value Services

  • Scholarships offering return on investment

We’re working with our university partners to offer generous scholarships that help support students in achieving their academic goals. From pathway and progression discounts there is significant opportunity across multiple centres. Highlights include1:

    • Up to £20,000 for undergraduate students at the University of Sunderland
    • Up to £9,000 scholarships for Aston University
    • University of Reading new Sustainability scholarship award of £6,000 towards cost of living
  • Developing Career-Ready Skills with Student Circus

We’re thrilled to announce our latest initiative to boost student employability and career readiness through a partnership with Student Circus – an award-winning platform dedicated to helping international students become job-ready. From September, our International Year One and Pre-Master’s students will be able to access

    • Access to a curated jobs board featuring UK companies that sponsor international graduates
    • Toolkits and resources tailored to international students’ unique career challenges including: an immigration guide and career country guides
    • Live webinars, sessions, and career guidance to help with job applications and highlight the value of international perspectives
    • Support in centre to build job-ready mindsets and leadership skills

Student Circus forms part of a wider package of employability preparation support for students at OnCampus – more details of which we’ll be sharing in the coming weeks. Support is also available to students looking to complete their Master’s programme at the University of Hull London and Aston University London. 

  • Outstanding Referral Rates

We asked, they spoke and so in a recent OnCampus induction survey a huge 95% of students said they would recommend OnCampus to their family and friends.
